FP PREIS® KML
FP PREIS® KML is a cast iron, socketless wastewater pipe system designed for the drainage of aggressive waste, commonly required in facilities such as canteens, large kitchens, laboratories, and healthcare institutions. This system offers the inherent advantages of cast iron, including sound insulation, fire protection, and heat resistance. Additionally, FP PREIS® KML features a highly durable internal and external coating, making it suitable for the discharge of aggressive wastewater and for underground installations.
Coating Technology:
Aggressive wastewater is characterized by its components, formulations, and temperature fluctuations. The trend towards water-saving building drainage leads to higher concentrations of organic and inorganic substances in pipelines. FP PREIS® KML is well-suited for these requirements due to its high-quality internal and external coatings. The internal coating consists of two layers of epoxy resin, each 120µm thick, fully bonded to each other. Externally, the pipes are galvanized with 130 g/m² and have an additional epoxy outer layer of at least 60µm.
